I have been revisiting some animated personal projects. I am interested in the idea of doing as much as possible with only a few frames. Keeping the animation simple and not completely distracting from the article or whatever project it we are illustrating. I think it is an excellent way to utilize the new platforms that publications run on as well as add something to the image. This first one is about sea level rise and the sea walls in NO.
I use Photoshop CC to create these GIF's, this year I would like to explore the limits and power of this medium along with animation specialist Danny Hengel, who is much better at using more advanced animation programs like After Effects.
Many of these, especially the 2nd from top, are about the availability of content and omnipresence of the screen in our lives.
